Good morning on this sunny but cold Sunday :)
All my comments, opinions etc are purely my own, garnered from life experiences bringing up my own children, being socially aware. I love to be informed, debate, try new things, so today as April is AUTISM Awareness month and following the measles epidemic in parts of Wale right now I have to speak my mind on the MMR injection..no way could I ever risk my child becoming brain injured, blind or any of the other conditions they could contract from catching measles because I as their guardian chose (on their behalf) not to immunize them against it..yet people made this decision because they seemingly preferred these options to their child 'catching' Autism?? AUTISM is NOT a DISEASE..it is a way of life, a slightly different, most times beautiful way of life, many, many inspiring, innovative, people throughout history and today have been proved to be and are on the Autistic spectrum...our world would be a less bright and beautiful one without EVERY SINGLE AUTISTIC person in it :) Can't we practise humanity, love for our fellow man (and child) just a little bit more?
